Heating Systems

Do you know the factors to consider when choosing a Heating system?

New England winters demand effective heating systems. In the summer, many of us prefer the comfort of central air. In many locales, a back up heating source is an important consideration. What heating system will you choose for your new home?

Schiavi Home Builders can help you find your way through the myriad of choices. We can help you determine the proper system size for your home too. Most importantly, we understand the requirements for state and local code compliance so you can have confidence that your heating system is effective and safe.

Installing a heating system in a manufactured home is a two step process. The first step takes place in the factory as each section of your home is engineered to your specifications. As each room is built, the ductwork or piping is installed. As each section of your home is installed on site, connections are made. Before turning the system on however, it is vital to check for leaks with an air test. Just like your plumbing system, leaks can occur so each fitting must be individually checked. Otherwise, costly damage can occur.

There are many important factors to consider when choosing the heating system for your custom manufactured home. Working directly with Schiavi Home Builders is the best way to ensure you make the choice that is reliable and effective for your new home.

You may choose to work with your own Maine heating contractor. If you do, please understand that this may cause delays and add cost to your project. For the best result, include all heating requirements in the general contracting agreement you make with Schiavi Home Builders.
